2011 Tompkins County Tennis Championships
The 2011 Tompkins County Tennis Tournament sponsored by the Ithaca Youth Bureau is under the direction of Michael Bryant and the Ithaca Youth Bureau.
There have been no communications to myself on this years tournament operations.

2009 NYS DIII Womens Tennis Championships
DAY 1 RESULTS HIGHLIGHTS
1st Singles #4 Christina Nunez ITHACA stormed back from losing the first set to RIT Amanda Berg and took the match in the super tiebreaker 5-7, 6-0, 10-7. (Nunez was up 5-0 in first set and lost it 5-7) 
2nd Singles Alexa Wimes NYU and Agata Kubik ITHACA both won matches 6-0, 6-0
3rd Singles Katie Barlow ST JOHN FISHER defeated Elizabeth Way NAZARETH in the super tiebreaker 5-7, 6-4, 10-6 while Casey Kennedy WILLIAM SMITH did not drop a game winning 6-0, 6-0
4th Singles nearly had one of its seeds lose when Melanie Cohen ITHACA took the first set 6-0 against #3 Elizabeth Anderson VASSAR...Anderson turned the tide and won in the third set super tiebreaker 0-6, 6-2, 10-5
5th Singles Sara Hollis ITHACA did give the tournament its first seed to lose.... #4 Jess McCue WILLIAM SMITH by taking the third set super tiebreaker 6-3, 6-7(4), 10-4
6th Singles Julie Burkett RIT battled thru dropping the first set 0-6 and took the second set in a tiebreaker 7-6(5) and then finished off the super tiebreaker against Sheritta Wilkins NAZARETH 10-7
1st Doubles #4 ITHACA Nunez duo escaped upset minded ST LAWRENCE Edgar/Murphy 8-6
2nd Doubles WILLIAM SMITH Kennedy/Damon defeated ST JOHN FISHER Barlow/Catalano 8-0....Casey Kennedy has not lost a game in singles or doubles so far.
3rd Doubles BROCKPORT Keller/McLaughlin won thier first ever match at states against ST LAWRENCE Cohen/Rusk 9-7...but had to withdraw for the next round due to a family emergency.
